Pre-Ordered yet?

After watching the E3 Videos it took me all of 5 mins to pre-order BF4.  Anyone else jumping in early?

Yeah we definitely will be. We gotta upgrade our PC's before we do start playing it. Probably spending about 1.5k on each. But we definitely will be pre-ordering in about a month.

Ouch, sounds like a full build. I've got my fingers crossed the i7 920 oc'd to 4ghz will handle it if not I'm up for about $700. I found it cheapest at ozgameshop.com for $55(Origin code). Nothing wrong with consoles, except multiplayer

pre-ordered, even before E3  I'm a battlefield whore - can't get enough game time, damn family and work keep getting in the way!

BF4 + China Rising + Beta = 

I used to love the older series. I got into Heroes for a bit but then stopped. I used to love 2142, would be awesome if they made 2143 or something.

Hehe, i'm starting to feel like BF's little bitch myself.  I've never really got into it prior to 3, played 2 and 2142 a bit but not much.  I played L4D 1 and 2 solid for 3 years before BF3 and haven't felt the need to go back.  Can't wait for 4 beta, definitely want to find a regular squad.

By the time we get bf4, we should have some decent pc's to be able to keep up. i'm still running the same pc i've used for bf2 and 2142, and they did the job well for those games. i have to run on extremely low settings otherwise i'll lag. if i use full screen i lag, so i usually just make my screen small and since doing that i've played a lot better.
i'm the same with you, i wanna find a squad to team up with for bf4. i wouldn't mind starting up a clan again and perhaps getting a server going for it. not 100% sure yet, depends on our gaming time and yeah.

Fair enough, definitely time for an upgrade with the works. You're doing bloody well to hang on this long. I'm keen as mustard so count me in for BF4 clan/admin/kick ass action.

HI all. Hey Zero the Ozgameshop BF4 isn't the Russian edition is it? I'm hanging out for the cheapest price, because I might have to get two copies again. Bloody kids.

Yeah we want the cheaper prices but ultimately we will probably go for just origin. Easier for us. I think ozgameshop will have an English version, used to get all my games from there.

it's definitetly english, i grabbed MW3 from there last year and it is english. They will give you a code once released that will activate in Origin.

We needa upgrade our PC's before we can go ahead and get it. Its probably better to preorder otherwise we'll have to pay a ton extra for the expansions.

Oh yeah, count me in for clan, platoon, squads etc. I like to win, no matter the cost. I will lay down my life so others can succeed, hence my name, Deekoy. LOL.
As for pre order, I might even go for the EB games limited edition release. Dog tags, oooooh, shiney.
I can justify the $100 price tag as it's probably going to be the only game I play, as per BF3.
I wonder if BF4 is going to be similar to BF3, re Premium. ie game comes out with 1 expansion pack, then later get Premium, which includes that expansion pack as well.

we pre-ordered with EB games a week/two ago because you get a set of dog tags with the game, where as you don't with origin/etc. Looks good though. should have my next system ready for it.
Enelya's is good to go, but im going to add a 250-500gig SSD soon. (she has a 128gig atm, but we need more!!! )

Probably lowest i'd go for it is $299. Which is enough to get me a decent Case and possibly a PSU.
I do want the Thermaltake level 10 GT though. So probably not enough for a PSU

Keep looking on Gumtree for parts. A while back I scored a brand new Corsair AX1200 psu and a new Haf X case for $350. Two more pieces for the puzzle that is my next rig.

Lol. I also have a unicorn horn. I have a unicorn plushy signed by Patrick Stewart and Jason Mamoa (the guy from stargate atlantis and also was in Game of thrones). Word!

I posted on gumtree and saw a few things on it too, but they're pretty much same price. Still looking though. I'm thinking of going with all the new Haswell stuff. Not sure yet. The most expensive item will be my graphics card. Either the 780 or the titan (unless the newer stuff comes out soon ) Might even go with HD's 7990 (apparently its loud tho)

Hey comet, what did you end up with system wise? I'm thinking, it's time to treat myself to an upgrade. If I grind my 920 up to 3.8 I might just go for a SSD and a new gpu. I really like the 7990 as well, but ouch!!!!!!!! I might go with a 7970, then add another later. Decisions, decisions.

gpu - 7970 (upgrading to titan or whatever they bring out next. next series of cards should be out within the next few months, when that happens enelya will go dual 7970 but will have to upgrade her psu)
256g SSD
only have a 500w psu, looking at chucking a top of the range 700-1000w one when i can afford it
this machine cost me in total 2.4k, which includes windows and 27" monitor etc.
